About

My name is Neely.

I'm a 30-something lady living in Southwest Missouri with my amazing husband, 2 sons and 2 dogs (we need to update our family pictures. There's a son and a dog missing from this photo).

We have a German Shepherd named Czar and a Yellow Lab named Jo.

My oldest son has Down syndrome and that's part of why I started this blog. I feel like through him God has taught us a lot about life (with a LOT left to learn). I'm sure I will probably share a lot of things about him and the things I've learned and am learning as well.

I'm a photographer (www.neelysphotography.com). I love God, my family, graphic design, and photography. Also, Apple products, baking (but not necessarily cooking), hiking, camping, being outdoors, and reading.

I love all things boho, outdoorsy, and vintage. Coffee is pretty important, too. I'd rather wear a pair of jeans and my boots than a dress and heels. (It's important to dress practically just in case of the zombie apocalypse. ;) )

I am like 98% of American women in that I love Fall and all things pumpkin spice.

I love laughing and being goofy. I have a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor. If you ever read anything and you're unsure if I'm being sarcastic or serious, just assume sarcastic and you'll be right probably 99% of the time.

January 2015, I started searching for a bible to write notes in as I studied.

I wanted to start the year off on a good foot, trying to spend more time with God. During the search for the bible, I also stumbled across Illustrated Faith. I bought a journaling bible and started journaling in it in February 2015.

It has been such a blessing to me in so many ways. I want to use this blog to share my pages and hopefully in sharing my journey, I can speak to someone else as well.

I love relating to others through journaling and faith. I'd love to meet you. Find me on Instagram at @neelysphoto

I love your post and everything you wrote about your family.
I'm sorry to know that your first son has a down syndrome.
Please trust God for his healing as He is the Great Physician who is able to heal all of our infirmity and sickness.
Sorry we have low battery and will write back tomorrow.
    Do email me back.
    My husband send greetings.
    By for now
